Refund & cancellation policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for payments made on or through Business Discounts when Razorpay (or another listed gateway) is used. Specific deal terms on the offer page may add conditions.
1. General principles
- Refunds, where due, are typically credited to the original payment method or as per RBI and bank/UPI rules and Razorpay’s settlement timelines.
- Processing can take several business days after approval, depending on banks and the payment mode (UPI, card, netbanking, wallet).
- Failed or reversed transactions may appear as refunds automatically per the payment network; you may see SMS/email from Razorpay or your bank.
2. Eligibility
You may be eligible for a refund if:
- The business or we cancel a paid booking/order covered by a deal in line with stated terms;
- A duplicate charge or clear processing error occurred;
- Mandatory consumer law in India requires a remedy.
Change-of-mind refunds depend on the business’s published policy for that deal and product/service type (e.g. perishable goods, personalised services, or digital codes may be non-refundable if disclosed).
3. How to request
Email support@businessdiscounts.in with your registered email, payment date, amount, and Razorpay order/payment ID if available. We may coordinate with the business and Razorpay to validate the request.
4. Chargebacks & disputes
If you raise a dispute with your bank or Razorpay, we will cooperate with good-faith evidence. Abusive chargebacks may lead to account restrictions.
5. Subscriptions or recurring charges
If we introduce subscriptions, cancellation and refund windows will be stated at purchase and may follow Razorpay’s recurring payment rules.
