Business Discounts (“we”, “us”) operates Business Discounts and businessdiscounts.in (the “Platform”). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal data when you use the Platform.
1. Data we collect
- Account & profile: name, email, mobile number, preferences (e.g. location hints, categories), and business profile details for business accounts.
- Usage & device: log data, approximate location where you allow it, cookies and similar technologies (see Cookie policy).
- Payments: when you pay through Razorpay, payment metadata and status are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your full card credentials or UPI PIN.
- Communications: messages you send us and notification preferences.
2. How we use data
We use data to provide and improve the Platform, authenticate users, show relevant deals, send service and (where permitted) marketing messages, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and analyse aggregated usage.
3. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Service providers who assist hosting, email, analytics, or customer support under contract.
- Razorpay (and banks/NPCI as applicable) to process payments you initiate.
- Businesses you interact with (e.g. when you express interest in a deal or become a lead), as needed to fulfil the offer.
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
4. Retention
We retain information as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, audit, and dispute resolution purposes, then delete or anonymise where feasible.
5. Your rights (India)

6. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Platform is not directed at children under 18 without parental involvement. Do not provide data if you are not eligible.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after notice where required constitutes acceptance.
