Payment terms (Razorpay)
Last updated: April 7, 2026 · India
These payment terms apply when you make a payment on Business Discounts using Razorpay or other payment methods we enable. Razorpay Software Private Limited is an authorised payment aggregator/gateway in India; your payment may also involve issuing banks, NPCI (for UPI), card networks, or wallets.
1. What Razorpay does
Razorpay securely collects payment instructions, authenticates you per bank/UPI rules, and notifies us of success, failure, or pending status. Razorpay’s privacy policy and user terms apply to their processing: see razorpay.com.
2. What we store
We typically store transaction references (e.g. order ID, amount, status, last four digits if provided by the gateway) to reconcile payments and support support tickets. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, or UPI PIN.
3. Currencies & taxes
Prices are shown in INR unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST or other taxes may be charged as shown at checkout or on invoices issued by the business, as per Indian law.
4. Failed payments
If a payment fails, no charge should complete; any authorisation hold is released per your bank’s policy. Retry after verifying balance, limits, or OTP flow.
5. Refunds
Approved refunds are initiated through Razorpay where the original payment was collected. Timing follows Razorpay and banking rails—see our Refund & cancellation policy.
6. Fraud & security
We may block transactions that appear high-risk. Never share OTPs or UPI PIN with anyone claiming to be Business Discounts or Razorpay support.
7. Business payouts
Where businesses receive settlements via Razorpay, separate merchant agreements between the business and Razorpay (or our commercial terms) govern fees, KYC, and settlement cycles.
